Barbara Harris 1933-2003 Obituary
Barbara Harris, 69, of 115 1/2 Ritchie St., Buckhannon, died Thursday, April 3, 2003, at 10:23 a.m. at her home in Buckhannon.
She was born April 28, 1933, in Buckhannon, a daughter of the late Raymond Lee and Mable Tressie Reese Murphy.
Surviving are two sons, Richard Lee Harris, Buckhannon, and Raymond Alan Harris, Morgantown; three daughters, Kay Knotts, Nutter Fort, Barbara Jo Lal, Buckhannon, and Deshilla Rose Jones, Nutter Fort; one brother, James Murphy, Morgantown; two grandsons, John Andrew Loar, Moatsville, and Richard Lee Harris II, Staunton, Va.; two granddaughters, Michelle Lea Starkey, Shiloh, and Angela Dawn Tresize, Shinnston; and six great-grandchildren.
She was an elementary school cook and a Methodist by faith.
Friends will be received at Poling-St. Clair Funeral Home today from 1 p.m. to 9 p.m. Funeral services will be in the funeral home chapel Sunday at 2 p.m. with Pastor Roy Cogar officiating. Interment will follow in Heavner Cemetery in Buckhannon.
