Barbara L. Long 1929-2002 Obituary
Barbara L. Long, 72, a resident of 1028 Harrison Ave., Elkins, passed away at 8:32 a.m. Friday, March 8, 2002, in Davis Memorial Hospital.
She was born Nov. 21, 1929, at Gilman, a daughter of the late Lawrence Moats and the late Mabel Cochran.
She is survived by four sons, Greg Young, Euclid, Ohio, Gary Stephen Long and wife, Sue, Ft. Ashby, Bruce Long and wife, Dona, Coalton, and Jerrell “J.D.” Long and wife, Linda, Philippi; one daughter, Mrs. David (Deborah) Findley, Jacksonville, Fla.; two half brothers, David and Kevin Moats, both of Virginia; one half sister, Linda Nesbitt, Beverly; seven grandchildren, two stepgranddaughters, one great-grandchild and four stepgreat-grandchildren.
Ms. Long was a homemaker.
Friends may call from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. today at Tomblyn Funeral Home in Elkins. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday from the funeral home chapel with the Rev. Walter Blough officiating. Interment will follow in Ware’s Ridge Cemetery near Valley Head
