BEATRICE G. RITTER Beatrice Gertrude Ritter, 78, of Rt. #1, Moatsville, died, Friday morning, November 5, at her home. She had been her usual health and her death was unexpected. She was born April 27, 1932, at Moatsville, a daughter of the late Robertus Franklin and Nora Gertrude (Moore) Boner. On December 20, 1950, she was married to Hu Duane Ritter, who survives at Moatsville. Also surviving are four daughters, Donna Snider and companion, P.J., Fairmont, Deborah Hobaugh and husband, Randy, Erwin, PA, Barbara Collins and Betty Ritter, both of Moatsville; three sons, Freddie Ritter and wife, Mandy, Jeff Ritter and wife, Rhonda, all of Moatsville, Brian Ritter and wife Robin, Glenville; three sisters, Eva Marie Price and Shirley Sandy, both of Moatsville, Beulah Wachter, Frederick, MD; one brother, John A. Boner, Frederick, MD; numerous grandchildren and several great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by three sisters, Mary Jane Boner, Evelyn Sherril Boner and Geraldine Elizabeth Bolner. Mrs. Ritter was a homemaker. She was a member of the Moatsville Free Gospel Church, the Phelps C.E.O.S. and was an emeritus member of the Kasson P.T.A. She was a proud fourteen year cancer survivor and had participated in the Barbour County Relay for Life. She loved to sing. Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 P.M. on Monday, November 8, from the Moatsville Free Gospel Church. The Rev. James E. Johnson will officiate and interment will follow in the Locust Grove Cemetery. Friends may call at the Stemple & Forman Funeral Home, 385 So. Main Street, Philippi, from 3:00 until 9:00 P.M. on Sunday and from 9:00 until 11:00 A.M. on Monday, when Mrs. Ritter will be moved to the Moatsville Free Gospel Church where friends may call from 12:00 until 1:00 P.M., the funeral hour.
