Beulah Simmons Kuykendall, 90, formerly of Petersburg, died Wednesday, March 13, 2002, in Cortland Acres Nursing Home in Thomas.
She was born Aug. 3, 1911, in Brushy Run, a daughter of the late Salem Kimble and Minnie Alt Kimble.
Beulah was preceded in death by her husband, Ernest F. Kuykendall on Nov. 28, 1993. She was also preceded in death by three brothers.
Beulah was a member of Parsons Church of God in Parsons.
Surviving are one son, Carrol B. Simmons and wife, Zona of Beverly; three granddaughters and three great-grandsons.
Friends will be received at Schaeffer Funeral Home Friday from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Funeral services will be in the funeral home chapel Saturday at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Eli Hostetler officiating. Interment will follow in Cherry Hill Cemetery in Upper Tract. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Daybreak Unit at Cortland Acres Nursing Home, HC 60, Box 98, Thomas, W.Va. 26292.
