Billie Jo Flint White, 67, a resident of Elkins, has ended her battle with cancer. She passed from this life Saturday, Dec. 19, 2020, peacefully in her home surrounded by family.
Billie was born Thursday, May 28, 1953, in Barbour County, a daughter of the late William “Bill” Flint and Vivian Hawkins Orlando.
Left to cherish her memory is her husband, Rick White, children, Daniel White, Roger Green and companion Becky, Harry “Joe” Green and companion April Harlan, David Green and wife Amy, Damien White, Molly Reed and companion Chester Simpson, and Allison White, several grandchildren and great-grandchildren, siblings, Barbara Loy, Melison Desomone, Marilyn Cervenak, Kenneth Orlando and wife Sheila, Tim Flint and wife Becky, Lena Flint, Debbie Flint, and Tommy Orlando, aunt, Martha Efaw, several nieces and nephews, and BFF, Patti Shearer.
Billie attended the schools of Barbour County and later in life obtained her Associates Degree from Fairmont State.
She enjoyed life and friends and family. She was always fond of holidays, animals, fishing, playing slots and playing bingo. Billie was Christian by faith and action. She was known by many as “Momma Bill”, offering home and a helping hand without question.
Billie’s request for cremation will be honored and a memorial service will be held at a later date.
The family suggests that memorial contributions be made in her memory to your local animal shelter or the American Cancer Society.
