Bonnie J. Pritt Shrader, 67, a lifelong resident of Huttonsville, passed away Sunday, March 19, 2002, at 11:30 p.m. at her residence. She had been in failing health; however, her condition had been considered critical for the past two months.
She was born March 11, 1934, at Huttonsville. She was the only child of the late Gerald and Gladys Higgins Pritt.
On May 30, 1953, she was united in marriage to Willard J. Shrader, who preceded her in death on June 22, 2001.
Surviving are five daughters, Mrs. Jeff (Valinda) Gladwell, Mrs. Tim (Sandy) Salisbury and Mrs. Jeff (Kristie) Weese, all of Huttonsville, Mrs. Steve (Lisa) Fincham of Dailey, and Mrs. Danny (Loranda) Simmons of Elkins; four sons, Steve Shrader and wife, Candy of Elkwater, Greg Shrader and wife, Debbie of Mill Creek, Kevin Shrader and Ricky Shrader of Valley Bend, and wife, Shannon of East Dailey; 22 grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
She was a homemaker and a Methodist by faith. She enjoyed needlepointing, sewing and liked to garden.
Friends will be received at F.E. Runner Funeral Home Thursday after 7 p.m. Funeral services will be conducted from the funeral home chapel Friday at 1 p.m. with the Rev. Frank Long, pastor of Mill Creek Memorial Mission Church, officiating. Interment will follow in Brick Church Cemetery in Huttonsville.
