Boyd Howard 1952-2021 Obituary
Boyd Howard, 68, a resident of Mill Creek, passed from this life Wednesday, September 29, 2021, at home.
Boyd was born Tuesday, October 21, 1952, in Elkins, a son of the late Vance Monroe Howard and Virginia Currence Howard.
Left to cherish Boyd’s memory are three daughters, Cynthia Howard of Tampa, FL, Christina Minor and husband, Shane, of Lost Creek, and Angela Cooper and husband, Jason, of Huntington, three grandchildren, Michael and Katelyn Minor and Sydney Harlow, six siblings, Paulette “Sue” Scott and husband, Milton, of Huttonsville, Janet Ann Phillips and husband, Greg, of Elkins, Rickey Howard and wife, Pamela, of Port St. Lucie, FL, Doug Howard of Mill Creek, Lisa Warner, and Tammy Howard, both of Beverly, a sister-in-law, Arlene Howard, several nieces and nephews, and Catherine “Kitty” McDonald Howard, the mother of his children.
Preceding Boyd in death besides his parents was his brother, Tommy Howard and three infant siblings.
Boyd attended the schools of Randolph County. He was a coal miner before becoming disabled. He loved to be outdoors hunting and fishing.
Boyd’s request for cremation was honored. A memorial service is being planned for a later date.
