A handy tool if you are working wood the more traditional way, and a good basic design – a Log for the main frame, the spring loaded foot pedal is a little unique and would make the Shaving Horse a little easier to use and more versatile
In modern times, the shaving horse is still used, but is more likely to be made from 2×4 lumber – I think its kind of odd to want to use more traditional tools like a shaving horse, but to make it out of modern lumber instead of logs and limbs
