A Religous symbol neckerchief slide – the scouts have always been close to religion, today there would be a lot of controversy of this slide, as its only 1 symbol, and be accused of ignoring other religions – personally I would make examples of other religions so a boy scout could make one for their religion, but no matter how many religions were provided examples, there would be complaints for ones you missed – interesting way of approaching life
Personally, I would make an example for Christian, Jewish and Islam, and offer to help any scout come up with a design for their religion
interesting construction, 2 type of construction, using 1x with a U mount on the back would be relatively easy, becaue of the two separate peices glued together
One piece construction was interesting, with a long branch being the basis for the slide and carving it hollow and that long would be a bit of a challenge
