Making a rattle out of a turtle shell
I’m not a big fan of a turtle having to die to make a rattle……
Or cleaning the shell to get it ready for use
Various designs are provided, lots of room for variation
Construction is fairly easy after the turtle is dead and the shell cleaned and ready to work with
W Ben Hunt created the Whittlin Jim and Lone Eagle names, and published articles under all three name – Ben Hunt wrote 2-4 articles per month for Boy’s Life, and I think he created the Whittlin Jim and Lone Eagle to make is seem like there were multiple authors writing the articles
