Brenda Lee Claybourne Obituary 1965-2013
Brenda Lee Claybourne, 47, of Morgantown, died Saturday, Jan. 26, 2013, in Ruby Memorial Hospital, Morgantown, following an extended illness.
She was born Sept. 16, 1965, at Philippi, a daughter of Clifford Miner and the late Coleen Croston Miner.
Her husband, Norman Wayne Claybourne, survives at their home in Morgantown.
Also surviving are one brother, Clifford Junior Miner and wife, Donna, of Philippi; one sister, Patricia Kennedy and husband, Teddy, of Philippi; and several nieces and nephews.
She was also preceded in death by a sister, Mary Ann Miner; and by a niece, Stephanie Helen Coleen Miner.
Mrs. Claybourne had worked as a hospital laundress and certified nursing assistant in home health care. She attended Ford Run Pentecostal Church and enjoyed playing piano.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. today from Stemple and Forman Funeral home, 385 S. Main St. in Philippi. The Rev. Joe Carl Delauder will officiate, and interment will follow in Welch Cemetery. Friends called at the funeral home Tuesday and may call again from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m., the funeral hour, today.
