Calvin Posey II 1970-2021 Obituary
Calvin Posey II, 51, a resident of Beverly, passed from this life Thursday, October 7, 2021, at Davis Medical Center in Elkins surrounded by his loved ones. He had been in his usual health and death was unexpected.
Calvin was born Monday, March 2, 1970, in Elkins, a son of the late Calvin Posey Sr. and the late Marilyn Miller Posey Bailor and stepfather Calvin JR Bailor who survives. On May 1, 2021, he married the former Kimberly Sue Raines who survives in Beverly.
Also left to cherish his memory are two sisters, Diana Posey Currence and Crystal Bailor, one uncle, Rich, two aunts, Marge and Betty, three stepsisters, Nicole Wood, Belenda Wiseman, Lisa Bailor, nieces and nephews, AJ Currence, Lucas Currence, Matthew Currence, Kelly, Samantha, Cody, William, Chantel, great nieces, Hailey, Skylar, Elisabeth, great nephew, Kamren, three stepdaughters, Kaitlin, Brook, Ashley, one stepson, Douglas, step grandchildren, Destiney, Charlotte, and Chasen.
Preceding him in death besides his parents were three uncles, Homer, Jim, Virgil, and one aunt, Evelyn.
Calvin attended the schools and had been employed as a security guard at Carter-roag. He enjoyed buying old model antique trucks. Calvin was always a happy person and loved spending time with his nieces and nephews.
A visitation will be held at Randolph Funeral Home on Wednesday, October 13, 2021 from noon until 1pm. The family’s request for cremation will then be honored.
