Cam Edward Bragg Sr., 61, a resident of Crawford, passed from this life Thursday afternoon, July 19, 2012 at the Hospice Inpatient Care Center in Elkins. Cam was born on Monday, February 26, 1951, in Sutton, a son of the late Claude Bragg and Freda Mae Blankenship Bragg . On May 6, 1970, he married to the former Deloris Jane Stalnaker, who survives in Crawford. They enjoyed forty-two years of marriage. Cam attended Walkersville school and was a factory worker until becoming disabled in 1996. He enjoyed hunting and horse trading. Other hobbies included farming, baseball and softball. Surviving are his two children: Tanya Bleigh and husband, Kevin of Ireland, WV, Cam Bragg, Jr., of Gassaway, three sisters: Peggy Thompson and husband Robert “Bob” of Crawford, Patty Ward of Buckhannon, Nancy Bennett and husband Brannon of Weston, three grandchildren: Amber, Brandon and Ashley Bleigh, and several nieces and nephews. Preceding him in death were two sisters: Linda Heflin and Katie Anderson. Mr. Bragg’s request for cremation was honored. Family services will be private. The Randolph Funeral Home and Cremation Services has been entrusted with the arrangements for Cam Edward Bragg Sr.
