Carolyn Faye Chewning Leary 1948-2022 Obituary
Carolyn Faye Chewning Leary, 73, a resident of Mill Creek, passed from this life Thursday, January 20, 2022, at Elkins Rehabilitation and Care Center in Elkins, where she had been a resident for three years. She had been in declining health.
She was born Tuesday, May 11, 1948, in Elkins, a daughter of the late Lucille Virginia Gear Chewning. In 1994, she married John Leary, who survives.
Also left to cherish her memory is one brother, Edward Pat Chewning, and several cousins.
Preceding her in death besides her mother is three sisters, Opal, Judy, and Claris Chewning, and one brother, Roger Chewning.
Carolyn attended the Jubilee Outreach Church and enjoyed being outside during the day to garden and be with her flowers.
The family’s request for cremation was honored.
