Carrie Marie Welch 1989-2022 Obituary
Carrie Marie Welch, 32, a resident of Monterville, passed from this life on Monday, Feb. 14, 2022, in route to the hospital.
Carrie was born Monday, July 31, 1989, in Elkins, a daughter of Arden Dale “Sonny” Welch Jr. of Valley Head and Vickie Holcomb and husband, Tommy, of Summersville.
Also left to cherish her memory are two sons, Ryan “RyRy” Welch and Jacob “Jakey” Armstrong; her fiance, Justin Arbogast; two brothers, Brian Welch and wife, Cheyenne, and David Welch and wife, Karolynn; four sisters, Ashley Welch, Barbara Burdette and husband, Richard, Valarie Mills, and Texie Kline and husband, Ben; her maternal grandfather, Junior Louk; special nieces and nephews, Sophia Lynn, Marrielynn, Avery, Carson, Gunner and Joel, Brooklyn; and several other nieces and nephews; her loving chihuahua, Peanut; her squirrel, Squirrelie; and her snake, Bumble Bee.
Preceding Carrie in death were her paternal grandparents, Arden Welch Sr. and Lena Welch; her maternal grandmother, Carrie Louk; and one nephew, Matthew.
Carrie attended the schools of Randolph County. She loved flowers, coloring, aunt Sissy’s peanut butter candy, bacon gravy, playing with her nieces and nephews and spending time with family and friends.
Care Bear, you have left a hole in every heart that had the pleasure of knowing you. You will never be forgotten.
A graveside service will be held at Mountain State Memorial Gardens on Friday, Feb. 25, 2022, at noon.
Rev Leon Brown will officiate, and interment will follow.
The Randolph Funeral Home and Cremation Services has been entrusted with the arrangements for Carrie Marie Welch.
