Christopher Galen Gilmore, 19, a resident of Clendenin, passed away Thursday, Aug. 15, 2002, as a result of injuries sustained in an automobile accident.
He is survived by his father Richard Gilmore and stepmother, Anita, of Charleston; his mother, Tammy Powers and stepfather, Junior, of Clendenin; three brothers, Cory Gilmore and Cole Powers, both of Clendenin, and Michael Totten of Charleston; one sister, Mallory Gilmore of Clendenin; and his paternal grandparents, Galen and Jerry Gilmore of Mill Creek.
Also preceding him in death were grandparents, Doris Jones of Elkview, and John Tincher of Chelyan.
He attended Herbert Hoover High School at Clendenin.
Friends may call from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. today at the Hafer Funeral Home in Elkview. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday from the funeral home chapel with Pastor Dennis Barnhart officiating. Interment will follow in the Sunset Cemetery at South Charleston.
