Clifford J. Young 1937-2002 Obituary
Clifford J. Young, 83, of 47 N. Florida St., Buckhannon, died Friday, Feb. 15, 2002, in his home in Buckhannon.
Mr. Young was born Sept. 25, 1918, in Washington, D.C., a son of the late Harry Young and the late Elizabeth Perveiler Young Kimphlin.
On May 8, 1937, he married Eleanor P. Stance Young, who survives.
Also surviving are a son, Thomas J. Young, French Creek; an adopted son, Ricky Young, Stevens Point, Wis.; three daughters, Darlene Young, Omro, Wis., Bonnie Hill, Coloma, Wis., and Becky Bailey, Crystal Lake, Ill.; three grandsons, Robert, Wisconsin Rapids, Wis., Johnny and Tommy, both of Omro, Wis.; three granddaughters, Laura Ann, Hancock, Wis., Christine, Coloma, Wis., and Peggy, Omro, Wis.; and 11 great-grandchildren.
Mr. Young was a newspaper pressman for the Chicago Tribune. He was a lifetime member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars in Illinois. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II in the Phillipines. He attended Holy Rosary Catholic Church.
Interment was held in Hancock Cemetery in Hancock, Wis. Poling-st. Clair Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
