Dale Glenn Butcher “Glenn“, 71, a resident of Elkins, WV passed from this life, Friday, August 3, 2012 at the Louis A. Johnson VA Medical Center in Clarksburg, WV. Glenn was born March 9, 1941 in Elkins. Glenn proudly served in the United States Navy. He made his home in Homestead, FL until he returned to Elkins in 1980. Glenn was a Protestant by faith. He is survived by his loving family and friends. He enjoyed playing cards and Yahtzee, computers and fishing. During his time at the VA hospital he made many friends and he will be missed by all who knew him. Mr. Butcher’s request for cremation will be honored. A memorial service will be held at a later date. The Randolph Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 100 Meadow Lane, Valley Bend, WV, has been entrusted with the arrangements for Dale Glenn Butcher.
