David Leon “Bud” Barlow, 70, a resident of Montrose, passed from this life Saturday, January 3, 2015 at home. Bud was born Friday, November 24, 1944 in Randolph County, a son of the late Alfred Leon Barlow and Bernice Daff Barlow. Left to cherish Bud’s memory are four children, Sherry Barlow, David Barlow, Angela Nadeau, all of VA and Chris McCauley of Elkins, three brothers, Charles Barlow of Elkins, Allen Barlow and wife Sue and Jimmy Barlow and wife Jeanie, all of Elkins, two sisters, JoAnn Akers of Montrose and Beverly Keffer of Norton, eleven grandchildren, Amanda, Jonathan, Joshua, Cory, Derek, Daniela, MyKayla, Michaela, Brandon, Zander and Kierstan and one great grandchild, Bella Rose. Preceding Bud in death besides his parents were four siblings, Gary Barlow, Nora Mae Healey, Margaret Gumm and Barbara McCauley. Bud attended the schools of Randolph County. He was a very hard working self employed carpenter and thoroughly enjoyed his profession. He enjoyed sharing stories of his life and adventures with his children and those around him. Bud was very loved and will be missed by all who knew him. Bud’s request for cremation will be honored.
