David William Gill, 60, a resident of Parsons, went to his heavenly home Saturday, January 16, 2021, at his son’s home.
David was born Friday, January 22, 1960 in Elkton, MD, a son of the late Freddie Wilson Gill and Elsie Faye Lewis Gill. David was twice married. On October 17, 1976, he married Ellen Paugh and in February, 1989, he married Patricia Clark of Bennettsville, SC. Both were good friends.
Also left to cherish David’s memory are three children, Jennings “Bo” Gill and wife, April of Parsons, William “Billy” Gill and wife, Nicole of Conway, SC and Rena Gill Smith and husband, Dimetries of Bennettsville, SC, eight grandchildren, two brothers, Paul Gill and Wilson Gill, and a sister, Terry Wyre of Elkton, MD.
Preceding David in death besides his parents was a son, Raymond Paugh and two brothers, Rex and Ollie Gill.
David loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren, and loved camping in the summer. He will be missed by all who knew him.
Services will be private and David’s request for cremation will then be honored.
