Deborah Lynn Ross Harris 1956-2020 Obituary
Deborah Lynn Ross Harris, age 64, a resident of Philippi, departed this life Tuesday, March 24, 2020 at her home near Philippi.
She was born February 11, 1956, at Elkins, the daughter of the late Amos Clinton and Virginia Lee Wright Ross.
On August 12, 1977, at Junior, she was united in marriage to David Larry Harris, who survives at their home in Philippi.
Mrs. Harris is survived by one son, David Harris and wife Brandi of Elkins; and three daughters, Michelle Farris and husband Gary of Weston, Melissa Harris and fiancé Jim Johnson of Camp Hill, PA, and Brandi Harris of Philippi and one brother, Donald Ross of Belington. Also surviving are 11 grandchildren; Ryne, Madison, Jacob, Alexis, Blake, Andrew, Kiana, Austin, Bailey, Miles, and Morgan. Additional survivors are numerous nieces and nephews and a whole host of friends.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by two brothers Ronald and David Ross and one sister, Patty Lambert.
Deborah was a graduate of the Worwood High School in Wheeling, WV.
She worked many years at The Jiffy Mart Convenience Store at Belington and was the owner of the Sweet Temptations Candy Shop in Philippi.
She enjoyed sewing, crocheting, making candy and photography.
She attended the Horizon Church in Junior and was a Christian by faith. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Mrs. Harris’ request for cremation will be honored and the disposition of her cremains will be at a later date in the Fraternal Cemetery at Belington.
The Talbott Funeral Home in Belington is in charge of the arrangements for Mrs. Deborah Lynn Ross Harris.
