Debra Jean Williams Leary, 55, a resident of Elkins, passed from this life Friday, October 12, 2012. Debra was born Monday, May 13, 1957 in Elkins, a daughter of the late Oskar Williams and Arlene Lucille Armstrong Williams. On July 21, 1986, in Elkins, she was married to Arthur Donald Leary who preceded her in death in 2008. They enjoyed twenty years of a wonderful marriage. Debra is survived by a son, James Michael Pritt and wife, Meredith Alfano-pritt, of Elkton, MD, two grandchildren, Macy and Mackinley Pritt, one stepdaughter, Donna Elicker and husband Dan of Dover, PA, three grandchildren, Jamie, Nicole and Iisac Elicker all of Dover, PA, four siblings, Lawrence Neil Williams and wife, Rosanna, and Carol L. Williams, all of Elkins, Donna Williams Pitsenberger and husband, Tom, of Beverly, and Oskar Keith Williams of Hagerstown, MD, one special aunt Edna Carr of Elkins, and several nieces and nephews. Debra was preceded in death by one brother, Ronald W. Williams. Debra was a graduate of Elkins High School with the class of 1975, and she had worked as a sales associate at Wal-mart and also worked part time at the Randolph County Senior Center. She enjoyed gardening, flowers, reading, her dog Raisin, and spending time with her friends. She had attended Shiloh Baptist Church and was a Baptist by faith. Debra loved life, good friends and never knew a stranger. She asked that everyone do something good for others always in memory of her. A memorial service will be held at the Randolph Funeral Home on Thursday, October 18, 2012 where friends may call from 6 until 7PM, the funeral hour. Pastor Terry Cannon will officiate.
