Dianah Lee Armstrong Taylor, 73, a resident of East Dailey, passed from this life Wednesday, March 17, 2021 at Davis Medical Center. She had been fighting a brave battle with cancer since March of 2018.
Dianah was born Thursday, June 12, 1947, in Elkins, a daughter of the late Forrest Bryan Armstrong and Dochie Ray McCauley Armstrong. On June 20, 1964, she was married to Preston Earl Taylor who preceded her in death.
Left to cherish her memory is a daughter, Tamela Dawn Hamrick and husband, Clinton Eugene, II, one grandson, Clinton Eugene Hamrick III, all of East Dailey, one sibling, Allen Armstrong of Mill Creek, two nieces, Ginger Boyd and husband, Richard, and Estelita Gillard, all of Canton, OH, One nephew, Greg Sal Armstrong of Elkins, two great nephews, Heath Boyd and Bryan Gillard, one great niece, Amber Boyd, and one great great- nephew, Kaleb Boyd, all of Canton, OH.
Preceding Dianah in death besides her parents and husband was one brother, Alfred Armstrong and his wife, Juanita, one sister-in-law, Sharon Armstrong, and a brother-in-law, Gordon Gillard.
Dianah attended Tygarts Valley High School. She had worked for Nella’s Nursing Home as a CNA for many years before she became ill. She loved taking care of and spending time with the residents. She also enjoyed spending time with her family, shopping, and listening to music.
Dianah’s request for cremation will be honored.
