Dorothy Sue Knicely, 58, of Route 5, Box 511, Buckhannon, died Saturday, Feb. 9, 2002, at her home.
Mrs. Knicely was born Oct. 19, 1943, in Buckhannon, a daughter of the late Edward and Edith Warner Peters.
On Jan. 24, 1964, she married James M. Knicely, who survives.
Also surviving are three sons, Terry Knicely and Rick Knicely, both of Buckhannon, and Larry Knicely, Ft. Wayne, Ind.; a daughter, Vicky Knicely Kelley, Buckhannon; four grandsons, Cole Kelley, Jason Knicely and Justin Knicely, all of Buckhannon, and Seth Knicely, Ft. Wayne, Ind.; and two granddaughters, Kelly Knicely and Morgan Knicely, both of Buckhannon.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Richard Peters.
Mrs. Knicely was a homemaker. She was a member of the Gideons Ladies Auxiliary, Holbrook’s Auxiliary and Upshur County Singers Association. She attended Buckhannon Union Mission Church.
Funeral Arrangements: Friends will be received at Poling-st. Clair Funeral Home Tuesday from 3 p.m. to 9 p.m. Funeral services will be in the funeral home chapel Wednesday at 2 p.m. with the Rev. Dennis Estes officiating. Interment will follow in Heavner Cemetery in Buckhannon.
