Dottie L. Judy, age 66 years, a resident of Elkins, passed away September 24, 2010. She was born May 22, 1944 at Buckhannon, WV, a daughter of the late William Otto and Christine Bonner Reed. On August 11, 1961 at Elkins, she was married to Glenn Dale Judy who survives in Elkins.
Also surviving are two sons, John Christopher Judy, of Ranson, WV, Jamie Lee Judy, Elkins, one daughter, Theresa Christine Bunner, of Buckhannon, one brother, Bill Reed, of French Creek, WV, two sisters, Freda Skidmore and Nancy Hamrick, both of Buckhannon, five grandchildren, Jackie, Steven, Makayla, Brayden, Levi and one great grandchild, Rylynn.
Also preceding her in death were one son, Glenn Dale Judy, Jr., two sisters, Ruth Reed and Elizabeth Sims, and six brothers, Richard, Junior, Ralph, Bob, Wayne and Neil Reed. Mrs. Judy was a homemaker. Friends may call from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM Thursday, September 30, 2010 at the Tomblyn Funeral Home in Elkins.
A funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM Thursday from the funeral home chapel with Rev. Stella Faye Moyer officiating. Interment will follow in the Mountain State Memorial Gardens near Gilman. The Tomblyn Funeral Home of Elkins is in charge of the arrangements for Dottie L. Judy
