Dwight Leonard Taylor 1958-2021 Obituary
Mr. Dwight L. Taylor age 62 a resident of Belington departed this life early Friday morning October 1, 2021 in the Davis Medical Center at Elkins, WV. Death was following a period of failing health. He was born October 24, 1958 at Dexter, Maine a son of Ivan E. Taylor Sr. and Nancy Elizabeth Harmon Taylor who survive. In addition to his parents, he is survived by one brother Ivan E. Taylor Jr. and wife Charlotte of Crawford, GA and one sister Dawn E. McCarty and husband James Jr. of Waddell, AZ. Also surviving are Nephews; Jared Taylor and wife Christine, Caleb Taylor, Joshua Taylor and wife Jessica, James McCarty III and wife Brooke, Daniel McCarty and wife Melody, Isaiah McCarty, and Ian McCarty and wife Taylor. Great Nephews; Stephen, Seth, Nathan and Jonah Taylor, Jeshua Taylor, Gage McCarty and Oliver McCarty. Great Nieces; Mercedes Taylor, Katie and Kristin McCarty, Cassidy and Emilia McCarty.
In Plattsburgh, NY he attended the Lakeshore Christian School and received technical training. He was a Christian and an avid truck collector and was a member of the Faithway Baptist Church near Belington. He will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved him.
Cremation was honored. Friends will be received from the Talbott Funeral Home Chapel 56 N. Brandenburg St. in Belington from 1:30-2:30 on Saturday October 9, 2021 with a memorial service to be conducted at 2:30 p.m. with Ivan E. Taylor Jr. officiating and will be assisted by Pastor Aaron Dowler and Pastor Downing Gregory. Interment of his cremains will be at a later date.
