E. Raymond Borror 1944-2003 Obituary
Emmanuel Raymond Borror, 59, of Elkins and formerly of Landes, died Friday, April 11, 2003, at his residence where he had been under the care of Mountain Hospice in Elkins.
He was born April 6, 1944, in Landes. He was the son of the late Cora Ethel (Borror) Davis and Dorsey Davis.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his father-in-law, Leroy Jimmie Taylor III on April 3, 2003; and two sisters, Mabel Borror and Iva Keplinger.
Surviving are his wife of 19 years, Hilda Marie (Taylor) Borror, whom he married on May 26, 1986, in Garrett County, Md.; mother-in-law, Evelyn Taylor of Elkins; one daughter, Crystal Thorne and husband, Paul, of Middletown, Va.; two sons, Michael Borror of Broadway, Va., and Donald Taylor and fiance, Kerrie, of Elkins; one foster son, Shawn Pennington and wife, Allison, of Elkins; one grandchild due in November 2003; two foster grandchildren, Benjamin Byrum and Brandy Byrum; one brother, Baxter Borror and wife, Sandy, Upper Tract; three sisters, Nida Irving of Petersburg, Vada Davis of Mathias, and Carol Runions of Broadway, Va.; one sister-in-law, Virginia Hawkins and husband, Michael, of Stephen City, Va.; two brothers-in-law, Leroy Taylor and wife, Mendy, of Elkins, and Wade Willis and wife, Mandy, of Fredericksburg, Va.; a special friend of the family, Amy Haines of Elkins; and several nieces and nephews.
Family will receive friends at Schaeffer Funeral Home today from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m., the funeral hour, with the Rev. Charles Herron officiating. Memorial contributions may be made to the family in care of Schaeffer Funeral Home, 11 N. Main Street, Petersburg, W.Va. 26847.
