Earl Eugene Teter 1941-2020 Obituary
Mr. Earl Eugene Teter, age 78 years, a resident of Elkins, passed away Monday, May 18, 2020 in the Elkins Rehabilitation and Care Center.
He was born July 26, 1941 in Elkins a son of the late Raymond E. Teter and the late Eunice Mae McClung Teter.
On February 9, 1960 in Elkins he married Ann Scott Teter who preceded him in death on September 2, 2007.
Surviving are two sons, Richard E. Teter and wife Tonia and Robert E. Teter and wife Kim all of Elkins.
One daughter, Lora Hedrick and husband Steve of Beverly; one brother, David L. Teter of Elkins; one sister, Elizabeth Peters of Seattle, WA; four grandchildren, Ashley Prichard and husband D.J., Amy Mole and husband Wes, Stacey Putzulu and husband Ryan and Michael Lewis and wife Jenna and nine great grandchildren also survive. Also preceding him in death was one brother, Paul Teter.
Mr. Teter attended the schools of Randolph County and was employed by the Randolph County Senior Center prior to his retirement.
Due to the Covid-19 Pandemic, a graveside service will be held at 11:00 am Thursday, May 21, 2020 at the Mountain State Memorial Gardens.
Chaplain Jen Suehs-vassel will officiate and interment will follow.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Randolph County Senior Center, 5th St. and Railroad Ave., Elkins, WV, 26241 in memory of Mr. Teter.
The Tomblyn Funeral Home of Elkins is in charge of the arrangements for Earl Eugene Teter.
