Edna E. Kirk Liller 1912-2002 Obituary
Edna E. Kirk Liller, 89, a native of Hendricks, a resident of Center Township, Pa., since 1956 and more recently a resident of Chapel Road, Monaca, Pa., departed this life Tuesday, March 26, 2002.
She was born April 16, 1912, at Hendricks, a daughter of the late William Kirk and Stella Nestor Kirk.
On Aug. 12, 1929, at Thomas, she was married to Melvin Charles Liller, who preceded her in death on Aug. 17, 1955.
Surviving are one son, Paul Liller, Ambridge, Pa.; one brother, Edgar Ray “Bud” Kirk and wife, Mary Ann, Monaca, Pa.; three sisters, Blanche Edmond, Junior, Betty Jean Silvester, Coalton, and Wanda Lee Annon, Philippi; two nephews, Richard Kirk and wife, Lori, Chippewa, Pa., and Larry T. Kirk, Monaca, Pa.; one niece, Deborah Intrieri and fiancee, Stuart, Chippewa, Pa.; two great-nephews, Arthur and Ethan Intrieri; and one great-niece, Angela Intrieri.
She was preceded in death by one son, Earnest C. Liller; two brothers, Kenneth Kirk and Glen Kirk; and two sisters, Mary George and Ruth Liller.
She was retired from the dietary department of the Medical Center at Rochester, Pa., and was a member of the Pentecostal Church at Hendricks.
Friends will be received at Simpson Funeral Home, 119 Washington Ave., Monaca, Pa., from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Friday. On Saturday, Mrs. Liller will be moved to Parsons City Cemetery, where graveside services will be conducted at 1:30 p.m. Interment will follow.
