Elbert “Lee” Fincham 1930-2021 Obituary
Elbert “Lee” Fincham, 90, a resident of Dailey, passed from this life Monday, June 14, 2021, at the West Virginia Caring Inpatient Center in Elkins.
Lee was born Thursday, July 10, 1930, in Cassity, a son of the late Clarence Fincham and Mary Shiflett Fincham. On June 6, 1954, in Elkins, he married the former Patricia Cutright who preceded him in death.
Left to cherish his memory are nine children, Peggy Swiger and husband William of Shafers Run, Lisa Wamsley of Mill Creek, Lori Arbogast and husband Steven of Mill Creek, John Fincham and wife Patricia of Elkins, Charles Fincham and companion, Michelle Wilson, Edward Fincham of Shafers Run, David Fincham and wife Brenda of Dailey, Robert Fincham and wife Crystal of Dailey, Gary Fincham and wife Tonya of Mill Creek, several grandchildren and great-grandchildren, siblings, Maxine Tenney of PA, Dortha Campbell and husband Dillard of MD, Lora Smith and husband Lowman of OH, Clyde Fincham and wife Elenor of OH.
Preceding him in death besides his parents and wife was one daughter, Susan Fincham, twin sons, Gary and Larry Fincham, four siblings, Coleman and Kelvin Fincham, Pauline Daniels, and Delma Fincham, and one son in law, James Wamsley.
Lee attended the schools of Randolph County and joined the U.S. Army. He had been employed in the coal and timber industries. Lee was an outdoorsman that enjoyed hunting and fishing. He was Methodist by faith and had attended Mill Creek United Methodist Church.
Visitation will be held at the Randolph Funeral Home Monday, June 21, 2021, from Noon until 1 pm, the funeral hour. Interment will follow in Fincham Chapel Cemetery in Adolph.
