Eldon Mark Biggen Riegel 1961-2015 Obituary
Eldon Mark “Biggen” Riegel, 54, a resident of Mill Creek, passed from this life Thursday, October 8, 2015 at home surrounded by family.
Biggen was born Wednesday, January 18, 1961 in Elkins, a son of Eldon Riegel and wife Lois of Mabie and Bonnie Taylor Arbogast and husband Jerry of Mill Creek.
On October 20, 1979, he married the former Carla Stalnaker who survives in Mill Creek.
Also left to cherish his memory are two children, Karrah Riegel and fiancé Brandon Washington of Morgantown and Jonathan Riegel of Mill Creek, one sister Sherry Riegel-pratt and husband Rob of Clarksburg, his best friend Victor Taylor II and several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
Preceding Biggen in death was one brother, Marty Riegel, paternal grandparents Paul and Annie Riegel, maternal grandparents, Sterl “Nig” Taylor and Vernie Louk Taylor who raised him like a son, parents in law, Charles “Red” and Dorothy Stalnaker and brother in law, Rusty Stalnaker.
Biggen attended the schools of Randolph County and had been employed as a plant manager for Carter-roag Coal Company.
He loved his job and was a dedicated family man that made sure everyone he loved was provided for.
Biggen enjoyed watching his kids as well as everyone else’s kids play sports. He was considered a Tygarts Valley Super Fan.
He enjoyed being busy and never sat still. Biggen was a loving husband, father and friend who always helped everyone with whatever they needed.
A visitation will be held at the Randolph Funeral Home Monday from 5P-8P.
A funeral service will be conducted at the funeral home Tuesday, October 13, 2015 at 11AM.
Rev. Julie Dean will officiate and interment will follow in the Brick Church Cemetery in Huttonsville.
