Elesta Lucille Mullennex Ours, a resident of Edgewater, Md., for 30 years, departed this life on Wednesday, June 5, 2002, after an extended illness.
She was born Oct. 6, 1945, at Harman.
She graduated from Harman High School with the Class of 1964. She was a homemaker and worked for 18 years at Adams Restaurant in Edgewater.
She is survived by her parents, David Mullennex of Job, and Betty June Prentiss of Elkins; two children, Tracy Ours of Stevensville, Md., and Lisa Turner of Cape St. Claire, Md.; three sisters, Frances MacMillan of Folsom, Calif., Linda Elza of Elkins, and Teresa Sario of Titusville, Fla.; and four grandchildren.
A memorial service was held at Kalas Funeral Home in Edgewater on June 27, 2002. The family will have a graveside service at the Mullennex Cemetery at Job.
