Etta Connie McCauley, a life-long resident of Valley Head, passed from this life Saturday, May 12, 2012, at her home. Connie was born March 27, 1971, in Butler, PA, the daughter of Russell Riddell of Florida and the late Sandy McCauley Sharp. Connie is survived by her brother, James “Buster” McCauley of Valley Head, WV, and two uncles, Sonny McCauley of Valley Head and Stanley McCauley, Elkins, and a niece, Alisha Dawn McCauley. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Jim and Geraldine McCauley, two aunts, Mary McCauley Hambley and Delpha McCauley Kisamore, and two uncles, Houston McCauley and Raymond McCauley. Connie attended the schools of Randolph County, and was a member of the Calvary Assembly of God Church in Valley Head. Visitation services will be held Wednesday, May 16, 2012, at the Calvary Assembly of God Church in Valley Head from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM, the funeral hour. Pastor Shane Whitacre will officiate. Interment will follow at the Valley Head Cemetery.
