Eugene S. Snedeker, 61, of Route 1, Walkersville, Pigeon Roost Road, died Tuesday, March 19, 2002, in Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown.
He was born Dec. 7, 1940, in New Brunswick, N.J., a son of Evelyn Sandor Snedeker, who survives at Fort Myers, Fla., and the late Eugene Snedeker.
He married Holly McComb Snedeker, who survives.
Also surviving are two stepsons, John Walker, at home, and Jason Cole, Daytona Beach, Fla.; three sisters, Sandra Jinkens, New Jersey, Gayle Burkowski, Glenville, and JoAnn Berisford, Gaithersburg, Md.; and a special friend, Darel Meadows, Roanoke.
He was a welder and fabricator and owner of T.A.W. Distributors of Walkersville. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy. He was a Christian by faith.
Family will receive friends from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday at Alkire Funeral Chapel. Funeral services will be in the funeral home chapel Friday at 4 p.m. with Pastor Chris Cosner officiating.
