Faye Y. Bertelli, age 66 years, a resident of Mabie, passed away June 11, 2012 in the Ruby Memorial Hospital at Morgantown. She was born April 8, 1946 at Parsons, a daughter of the late Carl Donald Coontz and Virginia Fern Johnson Coontz. On April 15, 1964 at Parsons, she was married to Richard L. Bertelli, who survives. Also surviving are two daughters, Frances C. Frazer and husband Robert of Elkins and Angela M. Booth and husband Jeff of Jimtown. One granddaughter, Raegan Booth of Jimtown and one step-granddaughter, Adrienna Frazer and companion Aaron Dolezal of Akron, OH also survive. Also preceding her in death was one brother, Robert Coontz. Mrs. Bertelli was a graduate of Coalton High School. She was a homemaker and a Methodist by faith.
Mrs. Bertelli’s request for cremation was honored. A graveside service will be held at 1:00 PM Saturday, June 30, 2012 at the McNeeley-hendricks Cemetery at Hambleton, WV. Rev.Leon Hevener and Rev. Jim Murphy will officiate and interment of the cremains will follow. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that donations be made to the American Red Cross, 718 West Pike Street, Clarksburg, WV 26301. Cremation services were provided by the Tomblyn Funeral Home of Elkins for Faye Y. Bertelli.
