Fred Arbogast 1943-2021 Obituary
Fred C. Arbogast, age 78 years, a resident of Valley Head, passed away Thursday, December 9, 2021 at his home. He was born October 26, 1943 at Elkins, a son of the late Burton C. and Sena Vandevender Arbogast. On November 23, 1964 at Huttonsville, WV, he was married to Judith Lindsay who survives. Also surviving is one son, Vincent C. Arbogast and wife Sandra of Valley Head; one daughter, Theresa Bostick of Valley Head; four brothers, Charles, Mike, Mitch and Ronald Arbogast of Valley Head and one sister, Phyllis Sharp of Valley Head. Four grandchildren and eight great grandchildren also survive. Also preceding him in death were five brothers, Ashley, Donald, Wayne, William and Gene Arbogast. Fred attended the schools of Randolph County and was a truck driver for F & J Trucking Company prior to his retirement.
Friends may call from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm Tuesday, December 14, 2021 at the Tomblyn Funeral Home in Elkins. A funeral service will be held at 1:00 pm Tuesday from the funeral home chapel with Pastor David Powell officiating. Interment will follow in the Valley Head Cemetery. Masks and social distancing is recommended for those attending the services. The Tomblyn Funeral Home of Elkins is in charge of the arrangements for Fred C. Arbogast.
