Freda Davis, 95, of 156 Willowdale Apt., Frederick, Md. 21701, died Wednesday, Oct. 16, 2002, in Frederick Memorial Hospital in Frederick, Md.
She was born Jan. 20, 1907, in Upshur County, a daughter of the late Lloyd and Sarepta Hinkle Brake.
She was married to Albert J. Davis, who preceded her in death.
Surviving are three daughters, Alice Cassano, Jefferson, Md., Mildred Connelly, Baltimore, Md., Willa Mae Satzinger, Irvine, Calif.; eight grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Mabel Lee Huffman; a son, Charles Robert Davis; and a grandson, Doug Davis.
She was a homemaker and a Methodist by faith.
Friends will be received at Poling-st. Clair Funeral Home Saturday from 11 a.m. until noon, the funeral hour, with the Rev. Lloyd Tenney officiating. Interment will follow in Bailey Cemetery at Bailey Ridge. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Parkinsons or Alzheimers Foundation.
