Freta Roby age, 82, of Rock Cave, WV died Friday, November 2, 2012 at Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown, WV. She was born September 16, 1930 in French Creek, WV, a daughter of the late Claude C. and Edna M. Heavner Morrison. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Frank O. Roby; one brother, Bob Morrison and one sister, Winn Reuss. She is survived by one daughter, Barbara Phillips and husband Dave of Weston, WV; five sons, John C. Roby and wife Olene of Evergreen, WV, Steve Roby of Steubenville, OH, James F. Roby and wife Kathy of Lost Creek, WV, David H. Roby and wife Sue of Adrian, WV, and Michael C. Roby and wife Lynette of French Creek; fourteen grandchildren and several great grandchildren; five brothers, Edward Morrison of Buckhannon, WV, John Morrison of Clarksburg, WV, Joe Morrison of Buckhannon, Jim Morrison of Denison, TX, and Charles Morrison of French Creek and one sister; Leona Pelascini of Covina, CA. Mrs. Roby was a Homemaker and a member of the Freedom Baptist Church in Weston. Friends will be received Monday, November 5, 2012 from 4-8 PM at the Poling-st. Clair Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held 1 PM Tuesday, November 6, 2012 at the funeral home with Pastor David Jessie officiating. Burial will follow in the Waterloo Church Cemetery in French Creek. Poling-st.
