Geneva G. Berg 1916-2020 Obituary
Geneva G. Berg, age 94 years, a former resident of Randolph County and for several years a resident of Fraziers Bottom, West Virginia, passed away Thursday, October 1, 2020 in the Riverside Health and Rehabilitation Center at St. Albans, West Virginia.
She was born January 1, 1926 at Monterville, a daughter of the late Edison B. and Leta Mae Simmons Hogan.
On June 1, 1963 at Monterville, she was married to Theodore Lee Berg who preceded her in death April 20, 2003.
She is survived by one son, Stephen Berg of Fraziers Bottom, WV; six brothers, George Hogan of Elyria, OH, Ralph Hogan of Morgantown, WV, Troy Hogan of Elkins, Sebert Hogan of Virginia, Robert Hogan of Texas and Howard Hogan of Arkansas. Four sisters, Jessie Dodrill and Irene Smith, both of Valley Bend, WV, Shirley Thomas of Medina, OH and Maxine Ball of PA; three grandchildren and four great grandchildren also survive. Also preceding her in death were two brothers, William and Roy Hogan and twin infant sisters, Annabelle and Clarabelle Hogan.
Services for Mrs. Berg will be private. Interment will be held at the Hevener Cemetery at Monterville, WV.
The Tomblyn Funeral Home of Elkins, is in charge of the arrangements for Geneva G. Berg.
