Genevieve Craven Jorcyk, of Spartanburg, S.C., died Tuesday, Nov. 12, 2002, at Spartanburg, S.C.
She was born at Sago, a daughter of William James and Seymour Jane Grubb Craven.
She was married for 51 years to John Jorcyk, who preceded her in death.
Surviving are one daughter, Carole Elaine Jorcyk Harris, Spartanburg, S.C.; one granddaughter, Anna Virginia Harris, Spartanburg, S.C.; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by two sisters, Amy Pearl Craven Beer and Una Craven Carter; and four brothers, Cecil Craven, Henry Craven, Morris Craven and Doris Craven.
She was a graduate of Buckhannon Upshur High School and attended West Virginia Wesleyan College. She was an executive secretary for the Glenn L. Martin Company in Baltimore, Md. She was an active member of Lamb of God Lutheran Church in Spartanburg, S.C.
Graveside services will be Sunday at 2 p.m. at Heavner Cemetery in Buckhannon, with the Rev. Gary Stackpole officiating. Interment will follow. Poling-st. Clair Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
