George Edward Mollohan, 65, of 66 Point Drive, Petersburg, died Wednesday, Jan. 16, 2002, at his residence.
Mr. Mollohan was born Feb. 3, 1936, in Gassaway, a son of the late Lanty and Mamie Shock Mollohan.
He was twice married. First, he married Glema Douglas Mollohan, who preceded him in death in 1989. Second, he married Mary Ann Smith Mollohan, who survives.
Also surviving are a son, Mark Edward Mollohan, Millersville, Md.; a sister, Adah Stump, Charlottesville, Va.; a brother, James Mollohan, Springhill, Ohio; and a grandson, George Edward Mollohan.
He was preceded in death by four brothers, Carl Mollohan, Howard Mollohan, William Mollohan and Stanley Mollohan; and a sister, Ruth Mollohan Madison.
Mr. Mollohan was a member of International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Local 26, Washington, D.C. He retired in 1996 after 38 years of service with Truland Services, Arlington, Va.
He and his wife moved to Petersburg in January 2001, from Prince Frederick, Md. He served in the U.S. Air Force.
