Georgia Arranna “Annie” Taylor Fincham, 74, of Valley Head, WV entered into eternal rest Tuesday May 4, 2010 at Elkins, WV. She was born Monday November 18, 1935 at Mill Creek, WV a daughter of the late Preston and Gertrude “Coon” Pritt Taylor. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family having been preceded in death by two daughters: Rhonda Jo Bunnell and Rita Kay Fincham, five brothers: Bedford, Steryl “Nig”, Clint, Plummer, and Lawson Taylor and four sisters: Delphia Coagr, Ruth Hammonds, Belva Lambert and Lucille Taylor. Left to cherish Annie’s memory are her husband, Shirley Benjamin Fincham whom she married on Saturday September 29, 1956 at Mill Creek and had celebrated fifty-three years of marriage, seven daughters: Shirley Lanham and husband Robert of Huttonsville, WV, Sharon Metheny and husband Jim of French Creek, WV, Karen Fincham of Valley Head, WV, Faye Jack and husband Clark “Buzz” of Beverly, WV, Brenda Fincham and companion Jimmy Pritt of Mill Creek, WV, Jenny Fincham and companion Dennis Henthorne of Mill Creek, WV, and Tammy Currence and husband Buckey of Dailey, ,WV; three sons: Steve Fincham and wife Debbie of Valley Bend, WV, Preston “Artie” Fincham of Valley Head, WV and Jeff Fincham and companion Cheryl Gum of Valley Bend, WV, twenty-two grandchildren, eighteen great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She attended the schools of Randolph County and was a homemaker. She enjoyed camping, reading and doing puzzles. Annie’s husband and family were the love of her life. More than anything, she enjoyed all the family gatherings at their home in Valley Head. Her family will forever cherish the wonderful memories of their loving and devoted wife, mother,grandmother and aunt. Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. on Friday, May 7, 2010 at the Randolph Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 100 Meadow Lane, Valley Bend, WV. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday may 7, 2010 at the the funeral home with the Reverend William McCartney and Donald Fincham officiating. Interment will follow at the Fincham Chapel Cemetery on the Adolph Road in Mill Creek, WV.
