Gerald McDannels, 75, died Tuesday, April 2, 2002, in Southeastern PA Veteran’s Center, East Vincent Twp., Pa. He lived with his brother and sister-in-law in Schwenksville, Pa., prior to entering the Veteran’s Center in October 1996 and was formerly of Beverly.
He was born in Beverly, a son of the late Patrick and Julia Snyder McDannels.
Mr. McDannels had a 20-year career with the U.S. Air Force retiring as sergeant. He had enjoyed participating in the activities at Manatawy Manor in Pottstown, Pa.
Surviving are one brother, Stanley McDannels and wife, Inge, of Schwenksville.
Friends were received at Huff & Lakjer Funeral Home, Derstine & Cannon Aves., Lansdale, Pa., Monday after 6 p.m., where a memorial services was held at 7 p.m.
