Geraldine Marie Bryant, age 68, of Buckhannon, WV died Monday, May 3, 2010 at Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown, WV. She was born June 14, 1941 in Flatwoods, WV, a daughter of the late Roy and Martha Blankenship Kniceley. On May 14, 1959 she married Howard Bryant who survives. Also surviving are four daughters, Peggy Judson and husband John of Cochran, GA, Helen Whitcomb and husband Carl of Lancaster, SC, Donna Knight of York, SC and Janet Bryant of Buckhannon; five sons, Joe Bryant and wife Angela, Mitchell Bryant and wife Robin and Robert Bryant all of Monroe, NC, Donald Bryant of Jane Lew, WV and Scottie Bryant and wife Rebekah of Weston, WV; two sisters, Mildred McCoy of Buckhannon and Betty Williams of Jane Lew; four brothers, Ralph and James Knicly both of Buckhannon, Charles Knicly of Jane Lew, WV and Olney Knicly of Lexington, OH and eleven grandchildren. Mrs. Bryant was a homemaker and attended Nays Chapel United Methodist Church. Friends will be received Wednesday, May 5, 2010 from 4-8 PM at the Poling-st. Clair Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held 2 PM Thursday at the funeral home with the Rev. Harold Langevin officiating. Burial will follow in the Upshur County Memorial Park in Tennerton, WV. Poling-st. Clair Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
