Gregory A. Harris 1959-2003 Obituary
Gregory Allen Harris, 33, of Parkersburg, passed away June 18, 2003, at his residence.
He was born July 18, 1969, in Morgantown, a son of Marie Hogan Harris of Clarksburg, and the late William Bayard Harris Jr.
He was the manager of Mountain Heritage Federal Credit Union of Parkersburg and Martinsburg. He was a member of Christian Life Center. He graduated from Fairmont State College in 1992 and was a former employee of the former Empire National Bank in Clarksburg.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife, Sheila; two children, Madison Paige and Isaac Noah; two brothers, William Bayard Harris II and wife, Betsy, of Buford, Ga., and Bradley Eugene Harris and wife, Tabitha, of Terra Alta; two nieces, Audrey and Andrea of Terra Alta; three nephews, Jake, Ben and Zac of Buford, Ga.; an uncle, Edsel Hogan of Franklin; and his mother and father-in-law, R. Carroll and C. Nadine Hull of Fairmont; three aunts, Leah Kincaid of Minooka, Ill., Elsie Hit of Jacksonville, Ark., and Elaine Valentine of Elkins.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. William Wesley Hogan; paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. William Bayard Harris Sr.; two aunts and five uncles.
Services were held June 21 at 1 p.m. at Leavitt Funeral Home with Pastor Delton Smith officiating. Visitations were held June 20 from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
