Harlan Sandard Arbaugh 1936-2020 Obituary
Harlan Sandard Arbaugh, age 83 years, of Elmwood Park, New Jersey, formerly of Glady, WV passed away Friday, June 5, 2020 at his home due to cancer.
He was born September 14, 1936 a son of the late Delbert and Ella Davis Strawder.
He lived most of his life, living and working in New Jersey.
He was a very special son and brother and he loved everyone. Sandard is survived by two brothers, Marvin and Delbert Strawder; five sisters, Retha Rhodes, Linda Carr, Roberta Phares, Darlene Gillespie and Danna Shifflett. One step-daughter, Kim Anzaldo Russo and husband Stephan and two step-grandsons, Giovanni and Antonio Russo, all of New Jersey and several nieces and nephews also survive.
Also preceding him in death were two brothers, Elwood and Larry Strawder and his special companion, Anne Anzaldo. Love lasts forever. Friends may call from 1:00 pm until 2:00 pm Wednesday at the Glady Church of the Brethren.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm Wednesday from the church with Pastor Dave Moore officiating.
Interment will follow in the Strawder Family Cemetery at Glady. Social distancing will be maintained and masks are required for those attending the service.
