Harold Watson, 74, of Elkins entered into eternal rest Friday December 4, 2009 at Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown,WV. He was born Sunday November 3, 1935 in Beverly, WV, a son of the late Perry and Anna Oxley Watson. Harold was employed by The State of WV as a laborer for several years. He was a Pentecostal by faith. He enjoyed being in the outdoors. He loved to go ginsenging and play horseshoes. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one daughter: Sherry Shaffer, four sisters and six brothers. He will be sadly missed by his daughters: Cindy Chancellor of Beverly, Tabby Tharp of Belington, Carol Shaffer of Parsons, Delores Shaffer of Montrose, Sherry Blackburn of Elkins, Becky Bender of Ellamore, Pam Fortney of VA, Shelby Halstead of Rainelle, Cindy Watson address unknown, Shelly Watson address unknown; sons: Rocky Shaffer and Daniel Shaffer both of Weston, Charles Shaffer of Parsons, Stanley Watson of Montrose, Ricky Shaffer and wife Joni of Elkins, Richard Watson and Mark Watson both of Dailey and Kirby Watson of Belington; several grandchildren; great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren; one sister: Bessie Ramsey of Elkins and one brother: Charles Watson of Valley Bend . Visitation will be held from 11:00a.m until 1:00 p.m. Monday December 7, 2009 at The Randolph Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 100 Meadow Lane, Valley Bend, WV. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Monday December 7, 2009 at the funeral home chapel with Pastor Albert H. Belt officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. State Memorial Gardens at Gilman, WV.
