Harvey L. Bright 1922-2003 Obituary
Harvey Lewis Bright, 81, of the Highland Park community in Elkins, passed away Tuesday, May 21, 2003, at Davis Memorial Hospital.
Born May 2, 1922, in Dryfork, he was the son of the late Kenneth G. and Annie Bonner Bright.
He was united in marriage to the former Myrtle Louise Gibson, who preceded him in death on Feb. 22, 2002.
Surviving are two sons, Thomas Lewis Bright and wife, Johann, of Elkins, and Richard Lee Bright and wife, Gail, of Belington; and several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and nieces and nephews. Preceding him in death were two sisters, Pearl Roy and Bess Harper; and four brothers, Clarence Bright, Carl Bright, Lenzy Bright and Emmit Bright.
Mr. Bright was a veteran having served in the U.S. Army during World War I and World War II.
Mr. Bright was formerly employed by Allegheny Lumber Co. as a foreman until retiring.
He was Pentecostal by faith.
At the request of the deceased, the remains will be cremated. Graveside services will be held at a later date.
