Heather Dawn Simons Obituary 1974-2020
Heather Dawn Simons, age 46, of Buckhannon WV, died on Sunday, November 29, 2020, at the UPMC Montefiore Hospital in Pittsburgh, PA with loving family and friends by her side. She was born on October 29, 1974, in Buckhannon, a daughter of the late James Leonard and Julia Ann Bias Simons. In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by one sister Jamie Lynn Simons.
She is survived by her sister Samantha Jean Evans (children Logan Evans and Deacon Epp), Aunts Jody Marzka (Rick) and Rhoda Cutright, first cousins Donna Haymond, Roxanna Johnson (Steve McCartney; children Christopher Pullen, Makayla Johnson, Michael Johnson, Makenna Powers ), and Shane Powers (Nina; children Morgan Powers, Leon Vorst, Nina Rose Vorst), her Direct Care Worker Autumn Snyder (John II, child Timothy) and her boyfriend Michael Hosaflook, all of whom love Heather tremendously.
Heather was a 1994 graduate of Buckhannon-upshur High School, enjoyed craft activities with her friends at Buckhannon Manor, loved watching movies and WVU football and listening to AC/dC. She adored her cat “Mrs. Crazy” and was a Christian by Faith.
A private ceremony will be held at the Heavner and Cutright Funeral Chapel on December 5, 2020, followed by a graveside service and interment at Salem Ridge Cemetery.
