Helen Kathleen Kathy Wilson 1945-2011 Obituary
Helen Kathleen “Kathy” Wilson, 66, of Belington, died Wednesday morning, December 14, at her home, following an extended illness.
She was born July 13, 1945, at Wallace, W.Va.
A daughter of Maxine (Talkington) Hurst who survives at Canton, Oh., and the late Ralph Hurst.
Though born in West Virginia, Mrs. Wilson was raised in Canton, Oh.
On November 17, 1967, she was married to Richard Lee Wilson, who survives at Belington.
Also surviving are two sons, Scott Wilson, Fairmont; Brian Wilson, Pittsburgh, Penn.; two daughters, Linda Oxier and husband, Matt, Elkins, Jessica Moss and husband, Bryant, Belington; two brothers, Robert Hurst, Lexington, Ky., Warren Hurst, whose whereabouts are unknown; two sisters, Jean Holbrook, Bucyrus, Oh., Judy Edwards and husband, Gary, N. Canton, Oh., three grandchildren, Shelby Bowman, Moatsville, Alyssa Moss and Blake Moss, both of Belington.
She was also preceded in death by a son, Richard Lee Wilson Jr., by a sister, Joann Wilson and by one grandson, Conner Moss.
Mrs. Wilson was a homemaker.
She was a member of the Cornerstone Church and enjoyed crafting.
Funeral services will be conducted from the Cornerstone Church, Industrial Park Road, Belington, at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, December 17, 2011 with Pastor David Shelton officiating.
Interment will follow in the Concord Cemetery. Friends may call at the Schoonover – Stemple Funeral Chapel, 609 Crim Avenue, Belington from 7:00 until 9:00 P.M. on Friday and at the Cornerstone Church from 9:00 until 11:00 A.M., the funeral hour, on Saturday.
Schoonover – Stemple Funeral Chapel is entrusted with arrangements.
